BTS, also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan or Bangtan Boys or Beyond The Scene, is a male vocal group launched by BigHit Entertainment in South Korea in 2013. On June 12, 2013, BTS released their first album 2 COOL 4 SKOOL with the lead single "No More Dream" and on June 13, BTS made their debut on MNET's M! Countdown stage.
"BTS" means "a band that can stand up to prejudice and the pressures of the times." On July 4, 2017, an additional meaning was added: "Youth who grow toward their dreams and are not satisfied with the status quo." A.R.M.Y (Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth) is the name of BTS fans, meaning "admirable representative rap of youth." BTS Member Profiles
BTS is a K-Pop group made up of seven distinctive members. The BTS members are RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook.
- BTS member RM
RM (Kim Nam Joon), also known as Rap Monster, is the leader with the ability to write lyrics, compose and produce. He is a rap genius recognized by producers. His excellent creative ability breaks idols' prejudices. His IQ and emotional quotient are very high, which led him to give up the opportunity to enter university and become a singer, unquestionably strengthening his aura and popularity.
- BTS member Jin
Jin, full name Kim Seok-jin, is one of the group vocalists and the oldest member of BTS. He has big eyes, broad shoulders and is very handsome. Although he is the oldest in the team, he is as gentle as the younger members.
- BTS member Suga
Suga, whose real name is Min Yoon Gi, began as a rapper under the name Gloss in high school. He is one of the oldest veterans. Suga worked in underground music before his debut. He gained considerable experience and strength in rap and music production.
- BTS member J-Hope
J-Hope, full name Jung Ho-seok, as a dancer, rapper and sub-vocalist of the group, also has a large number of fans worldwide. Alongside RM and Suga, he was one of the three rappers of BTS. J-Hope insists on being himself and always has a clear direction, values and a distinctive musical style.
- BTS member Jimin
Jimin, full name Park Ji-min, was one of the last members to join BTS. Before BTS debuted, he had the shortest training period as a trainee. But Jimin also worked hard and was very good at singing and dancing. Jimin is always confident on stage and always conveys positive energy to his fans.
- BTS member V
V, full name Kim Tae-hyung, is a vocalist for the group. V is the most famous of the BTS members. Sometimes he shows fans his quirky side, which has a different charm on and off stage. Fans always say V has a four-dimensional personality. Over the past couple of years, Kim Tae-hyung has been pursuing a transition into acting.
- BTS member Jungkook
Jungkook, full name Jeon Jung-kook, is BTS's main vocalist. Regarding age, he is the youngest member of BTS and is cared for by other team members. He is skilled in singing, dancing, rap, songwriting and composing. He is an all-around member and also a very famous K-Pop singer.
